- A valid credit card is required to secure your booking. Depending on the rate plan, a deposit or full prepayment may be required.
- Payment terms and cancellation conditions will be clearly displayed during the booking process.
- Rates are quoted in USD and include applicable taxes unless otherwise noted.
- While we strive to provide accurate pricing, errors may occasionally occur. If a reservation has been made at an incorrect rate due to a pricing error, the hotel reserves the right to:
- Amend the booking to the correct rate, or
- Cancel the reservation without penalty.
If the price error is significant and the booking cannot be honored at the corrected rate, the hotel may void the reservation and issue a full refund.
3. Cancellation and No-Show Policy
- Cancellation terms vary depending on the rate plan selected. Specific details are provided during the reservation process.
- In the event of a no-show (failure to arrive without prior notice), the full reservation amount may be charged.
- Special offers, non-refundable, or discounted rates may have stricter cancellation policies.
4. Check-in and Check-out
- Check-in: From 3:00 PM
- Check-out: By 11:00 AM
- Early check-in and late check-out are subject to availability and may incur additional charges.
- Guests must present a valid ID and the credit card used for the booking upon check-in.
5. Guest Responsibilities
- Guests are expected to treat fellow guests, staff, and property with respect at all times.
- Any damage caused to hotel property will be charged to the guest’s account.
- Whale Tales Boutique Hotel & Villas is a non-smoking property. Smoking is only permitted in designated outdoor areas.
- Unauthorized parties, excessive noise, or disturbances are not allowed.
6. Liability Disclaimer
- The hotel is not responsible for loss, theft, or damage of personal belongings in guest rooms or public areas.
- Guests are encouraged to use in-room safes for valuables when available.
- Use of hotel facilities is at the guest’s own risk.

These Terms and Conditions are governed by the laws applicable in St. Eustatius, Caribbean Netherlands. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the competent courts in this jurisdiction.
